Rebotile Medi
Founder & Creative Director | Head Mentor, SACFMH
Rebotile Medi is the Founder and Head Mentor of Southern African Creative Female Mobile Hub (SACFMH), an incubation programme that seeks to empower both rural and urban female filmmakers in the SADC regions. Coming from the broadcasting industry, Rebotile has elevated authentic storytelling through domestic content creation.

Rratsheko Mashilo Nthite
Creative Collaborator | Head Mentor, R53.lab | Creative Producer, Room 53 Films
A South African domestic and observational creative documentary filmmaker who has mastered the art of international collaboration round table discussion. Rratsheko is currently serving as Creative Collaboration of Interaction: South Africa and Southern African Inter-Creative Mobile Hub - Domestic Filmmaking (SAICMH).

- Facilitated 5-week 'Making Creative Doc Workshop' for Mashariki African Film Festival across 4 regions in Rwanda
- Reached over 120 aspiring documentarians and filmmakers
- Jury member for Mashariki African Film Festival Documentaries
- Collaborated with filmmakers from Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Brazil, Montenegro, Serbia, and Poland
- Films traveled to 12 international festivals including Durban International Film Festival

Our team's collaborative approach spans three continents, connecting South African storytellers with European filmmakers and international broadcasters. Through partnerships like the documentary mini-series "13" and various SADC initiatives, we bridge cultures from Poland to Rwanda, Serbia to South Africa, creating authentic narratives that resonate globally while celebrating diverse storytelling traditions. Our work has been featured on major networks including NRK Norway, Polish TVP, and across African broadcasting platforms.
